Identified an opportunity to reposition how a nonprofit communicated its mission, expanding emotional connection beyond traditional donors and leading to the highest level of giving in organization history.



The Challenge

Horse Haven’s messaging resonated strongly with horse enthusiasts — but the organization needed to connect with a broader donor base to unlock future growth.


The Strategy

I identified an opportunity to reposition the organization’s mission around a more universal emotional truth: rescued horses do more than save animals — they help restore purpose and healing for the people who care for them.


The Outcome

The campaign became the centerpiece of Horse Haven’s largest fundraising event, helped generate the highest level of donor support in organization history, and fundamentally changed how the organization communicated its impact moving forward.
